These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and the purchase of products from Mills Illustrates. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. About Us

Mills Illustrates is a UK-based online store selling illustrated stationery.

2. Products

We make every effort to display our greeting cards accurately. However:

  • Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings

  • Product images are for illustration purposes

  • All products are subject to availability

We reserve the right to discontinue products at any time.

 

3. Orders

When you place an order:

  • You confirm that all information provided is accurate

  • You confirm you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This does not mean your order has been accepted. A contract is formed only when your order is dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

  • Payment is not authorised

  • A product is out of stock

  • There is a pricing or description error

  • We suspect fraudulent activity

If payment has already been taken, you will be refunded in full.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.

Payments are processed securely via Wix Payments. We do not store full card details.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within [2–3 working days].

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to postal delays outside our control.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Postal services

  • Customs for international orders

  • Incorrect address information provided by the customer

If an item is returned due to an incorrect address, additional postage costs may apply.

6. Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Rights)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

To exercise this right:

  • You must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery

  • Items must be returned unused and in original condition

You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

 

7. Faulty or Damaged Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if goods are faulty or not as described.

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographic evidence if possible

We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All artwork, illustrations, designs, images, branding, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Mills Illustrates and are protected by copyright law.

You may not:

  • Reproduce

  • Copy

  • Distribute

  • Resell

  • Use our designs for commercial purposes

Without prior written permission.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total value of your order

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

 

10. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.

 

11. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use this website for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to hack or disrupt the website

  • Copy content without permission

We reserve the right to suspend access if these Terms are breached.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
